Essential Accesories for Forward Motion

So I bought a new camera yesterday. Its an Olympus X42 which I am told is a decent digital camera, it will get the job done I'm sure. I am pitifully not very handy when it comes to technology and things with lots of "features"(usually i just push all the buttons til something miraculous happens)-but I am going to play with this camera excessively before I leave so I can dazzle you with my photos of windsheild bug splatter and road-side meals from a can.

I also had to order a good road atlas, because my lucky one that I always traveled with got a new home with some friends that had to wander too. There is a Hotsprings and Hot Pools of the Northwest book on its way (by Jason Loam), and a book called Globejotting (Dave Fox) that's about writing on the road-hopefully it will keep me from boring you all to death.

This week, also in preparation, I am having a large influx of massage clients-and I feel the Universe is conspiring to send me lots of support in the financial department, which is marvelous! I have seven appointments in the next three days! :O))

Thursday and Friday are my final days at the bar (Cowboy Bills), and though I am a little sad to let it go-its been a great ride and its time for moving on. Hope to see my locals there! Its likely to be a rowdy night-and I see tequila in my future... maybe I'll wear my helmet...yes a helmet- what..you don't have a drinking helmet?? ;)

Okay then til next time...
