So I bought a new camera yesterday. Its an Olympus X42 which I am told is a decent digital camera, it will get the job done I'm sure. I am pitifully not very handy when it comes to technology and things with lots of "features"(usually i just push all the buttons til something miraculous happens)-but I am going to play with this camera excessively before I leave so I can dazzle you with my photos of windsheild bug splatter and road-side meals from a can.
I also had to order a good road atlas, because my lucky one that I always traveled with got a new home with some friends that had to wander too. There is a Hotsprings and Hot Pools of the Northwest book on its way (by Jason Loam), and a book called Globejotting (Dave Fox) that's about writing on the road-hopefully it will keep me from boring you all to death.
This week, also in preparation, I am having a large influx of massage clients-and I feel the Universe is conspiring to send me lots of support in the financial department, which is marvelous! I have seven appointments in the next three days! :O))
Thursday and Friday are my final days at the bar (Cowboy Bills), and though I am a little sad to let it go-its been a great ride and its time for moving on. Hope to see my locals there! Its likely to be a rowdy night-and I see tequila in my future... maybe I'll wear my helmet...yes a helmet- what..you don't have a drinking helmet?? ;)
Okay then til next time...

Lacifer,
ReplyDeleteI will miss you much. Take lots of photos. And when you need help posting photos, videos, etc., here, let me know.
DJ/Emcee Rocko
p.s. I'll be linking your blog to four blogs I take care of. One of them will, of course, be the Cowboy Bill's blog. I'll find a photo of you on the blog, re-post it, and let everyone know you are leaving (or have left) and I'll tell everyone to view your new blog to keep up with you.
Love you gal,
Rocko
Lacy,
ReplyDeleteYour comment's section shows Pacific Coast time right now. You can change the time as you travel to represent the time you really post.
To change your time:
1. Click on "Settings" tab
2. Click on "Formatting" at top of page
3. Scroll down "Time Zone"
4. Go in now and change to (GMT- 05:00)Eastern Time to correct the current time.
For instance, the last post I made here in your comments section shows a time/stamp of 7:49. However, it is really 10:49 here in Cudjoe Key and down in Key West.
thanks rocko!! i love ya too!! xxxooo
